Youth Services and School Library Division (YSSLD)

Welcome Message

Join the Youth Services and School Library Division (YSSLD) of the Alabama Library Association (ALLA) and help create a brighter future for the children of Alabama.  YSSLD plans, implements and manages programs that reach out to children and the library staff that work with children throughout the state.

YSSLD’s mission is  to find innovative ideas that promote library services to children and teens from our team of school media specialists, public librarians, academic librarians, special librarians and para-librarians. This collaboration takes into account all the members of our learning community who work with youth in a library setting..

Join us today as we work together to share resources, knowledge and best practices that help us reach our goals.
