The Convention Program Sub-Committee will be accepting program proposals until December 2, 2019.

Professional Development Presentations are conducted by professionals in their fields. Desired topics include: Diversity (in collections, staff, patrons, services, etc.), Customer Service, Collections, Policy, User Experience Management, Advocacy, Self Care, Retirement, etc.) Professional Development Presentations will be 45 minutes:

  • Wednesday, April 15, 11-11:45 a.m.
  • Thursday, April 16, 9-9:45 a.m., 10-10:45 a.m., 11-11:45 a.m.

Lightning Track Presentations are shorter presentations with a similar theme or interest group (For example: Academic, School, Public, Special, Children/Teen Services, Adult Services, Management, Diversity, Marketing, Serving Diverse Populations, Resume/Career Building etc). We will have 5 tracks going simultaneously on Wednesday and Thursday afternoon. Lightning Track Presentations will be 15-20 minutes:

  • Wednesday, April 15 & Thursday, April 16, 2-4 p.m.

Business meetings and/or socials and Poster Presentations (1 hour):

  • Wednesday, April 15 and Thursday, April 16, 4-5 p.m.

All School Media programs will be on Wednesday, April 15.

Presenters that would like to attend other sessions must register for conference for the day/days that they are presenting.

Program Proposals due by Monday, December 2, 2019.
