Budget and Finance Committee
ALLA's Budget and Finance Committee "considers the requests of each officer, division, round table, and committee within the Association for funding from the general treasury; makes recommendations to the Council for the annual budget; studies additional requests for funding for extraordinary purposes and makes recommendations regarding the feasibility of complying with the requests; and examines annually the dues structure to determine the adequacy of support for the activities of the Association." -- Alabama Library Association Handbook, 9.4.
The Committee has a specific membership requirements. The Treasurer is the chairman of this committee; the President, Vice-President/President-Elect, Immediate Past President of the Association, immediate past chairman of the Budget and Finance Committee, all division chairmen, and the Association Administrator serve as members on this committee.
